Cottage Classic Docks
About Us
For over 20 years, Cottage Classic Docks has been designing and building premium floating docks across Muskoka, Parry Sound, Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes, Perry Township, and throughout Northern Ontario.
Founded in Emsdale, Ontario, by Jeff Davey and Alison Warren, our company began under the name Tuff Tube. After nearly two decades on Supersign Road, we’re now proudly located at 1105 Highway 518 East — continuing our tradition of craftsmanship and innovation.
As a locally owned and community-focused business, we’re dedicated to supporting local suppliers and trades while providing durable, low-maintenance, and environmentally friendly dock systems.
Every Cottage Classic Dock is built using high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pontoons — a material known for its exceptional strength, buoyancy, and resistance to corrosion and impact. Trusted in municipal, mining, and industrial applications, HDPE ensures our docks deliver long-lasting performance and lifetime reliability.
At Cottage Classic Docks, we combine small-town values with industry-leading materials to create beautiful, sustainable, and dependable waterfront solutions — built for Ontario cottage life that lasts a lifetime.

IMPORTANT INFORMTION
Bill 228, Keeping Polystyrene Out of Ontario's Lakes and Rivers Act, 2021
Did you know Parry Sound - Muskoka MP Norm Miller put forward a bill called "Bill 228, Keeping Polystyrene Out of Ontario's Lakes and Rivers Act, 2021". The bill passed and was carried on May 13, 2022. The bill received Royal Accent on May 20th, 2022. This means the bill is now Canadian Law. This Act comes into force on the second anniversary of the day it receives Royal Assent (May 20, 2024).
The Bill requires persons who sell, offer to sell or construct floating docks, floating platforms or buoys to ensure that any expanded or extruded polystyrene in the dock, platform or buoy is fully encapsulated.
At Cottage Classic Docks, we do not have anything in our HDPE pontoons that keep our docks floating. This makes our durable pontoons, with a lifetime warranty, ecologically safe. It's a Win-Win!!
If you do have exposed Styrofoam floats, the bill gives you until May 20, 2024 to have them removed from our waterways. But don't wait that long. You could save marine life in the mean time. We are willing to work with you to have them replaced.
Contact us for a free no-obligation quote. We can make customer pontoons a perfect fit for your dock.
Let's work together to keep our environment safe for all creatures.
